What are the Production Record, Edition Record and Ownership Receipt?

What is a Production Record?

A record of when and with which template and method an artwork was produced, its labour label, and hash values of the source files (not the images themselves). It is also embedded in the final file as C2PA content credentials.

What is an Edition Record?

It shows that the personal variant is locked as a Personal Edition 1/1. The lock is bound to the final file’s hash; a second order with the same lock cannot be created.

What is an Ownership Receipt?

A receipt recording to whom the artwork was delivered, without exposing personal data.

Are these records a guarantee of originality?

No. They are proof of production and edition; they are not a statement about market value or a guarantee of originality.

Does Uniq Art use NFTs or blockchain?

No. Our records are signed by the platform and verified on a public /verify page. We do not sell NFTs or crypto assets.

What comes with physical artworks?

Physical prints come with a document matched to the digital record (Physical COA) and a QR/NFC tag linking to verification.
